If Offbeat Guides were a person, See Jane Fly would be our sister. We provide travelers with the latest travel information via our easy, customizable, online guides, and we’re both born and raised in San Francisco. However Jane’s angle, if you haven’t guessed, is that their services are geared towards the ladies.
According to a July interview with Fox Business, See Jane Fly’s Erica Dublin described the website as a guide “for the woman traveler who wants to simplify and enhance her travel experience.” The site’s services are designed for today’s busy gal who doesn’t have time to rifle through outdated paper guides or search through countless websites for information. With four simple steps, the folks at Jane create free guides that answer all the questions a woman on-the-go wants to know: where is the closest mani-pedi spot? Where can I get a mimosa brunch with my girls? How do I get to a kid-friendly café that serves drinks?
Step one is fairly easy: choose your destination. Currently the site offers guides for only five areas (New York, Los Angeles (Eastside or Westside), San Francisco, and Napa/Sonoma), but the company plans to include other U.S. cities by the end of the year. For step two, choose what type of trip you’re headed on. This includes the “romantic escape,” the “biz meeting,” and the family-friendly “tots in tow” option. Step three lets you select your budget and customize where you’d like to sleep, eat, go out, and workout. Finally, step four brings you to your personalized guide, which features recommendations from your destination’s local See Jane Fly experts. You can choose to email, print, or save your results.
In addition to the guides, Jane offers users exclusive perks that include freebies, discounts, and upgrades. To check out all of See Jane Fly’s services, mosey on over to their website and take a look!
