Women In Business Series Lights up The Crystal Coast

Mc Coll & Associates, Inc, located on the Crystal Coast (Wilmington, NC) also known as “Port City”, they are top of the line in Public Relations and Marketing. The award winning company has been in business since 1989 and has received a bevy of awards to their credit. Including but not limited to: the Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, Meeting Planners International, the Association Executives of North Carolina, the 2008 Established Chamber Advocate the Award the 2004 Corporate Citizen of the Year Award
and the 1995 Tourism Award.
One of the events that Mc Coll & Associates, Inc is known for is their Women in Business Series (W.I.B) This series was created to bring businesswomen of diverse occupations and all walks of life, together to help them grow personally and professionally through leadership, education and networking.
Each month there is a different speaker and the January event is going to be held on January 26, 2012. W. I. B. will kick off the year with Ms. Barbara Hemphill – “America’s Favorite Organizer” She will “wow” the W.I.B. attendees with simple strategies for making 2012, their most profitable, productive year possible, and more! She’s Known to some as the “Paper Tiger Lady.”
This talented woman began a career with $7.00 ad in a New York City Newspaper. Today she is a very successful businesswoman at best, and the founder of the Productive Environment Institute. She leads an International Team of Certified Productive Environment Specialists ™
Totally respected in paper, information and time management, Ms. Hemphill really balances out her work and personal life as well. Barbara has appeared on numerous local and national media entities and of course there are more ahead, in the works. USA Today, Good Morning America, the New York Times, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance and Guideposts Magazine, to name a few.
This dynamic lady is the past President of the National Association of Organizers, a winner of the Founder’s Award and a 2 time winner of the President’s Award. Her array of current books include: “Kiplinger’s Taming the Paper Tiger Series”, “Love it or Lose It: Living Clutter Free”,”Bushido Business” Co Authored by Stephen M.R. Covey, Brain Howard and Brian Tracey. Barbara’s 2011 release was, “What to Toss and how to Find the Rest.”
