I bought my davinci crib for my daughter Jillian from an online store because it was the slightly better in price than any of the other stores in my area that carried it, (no tax), they also had more selection. The crib itself is a really good bargain because it is a convertible crib. For those just starting their search for baby's new home, a convertible crib  can be re-configured for multiple stages through your baby's growth, A three in one crib, for example, converts to a toddler bed, full size bed, day bed, and supports multiple mattress levels. The lenth of the crib is the same width of a full size bed, and converting it into a full size bed requires additional rails ( I made sure to get these when I purchased the crib, who knows when these things get taken off the market)

Some of the great things about the Kalani is the multiple finishes that it comes in, and that you can go ahead and get matching nursery furniture if you want. I didn't decide to get the changing table, instead to use a changing pad on top of my existing dresser.

The crib was very easy for my husband to assemble, it took him about an hour with me carefully looking over his shoulder. We are both very confident in the ability of this crib to be the safest place to let our baby sleep. It is safe, a great price, easy to assemble, good looking, and we are goign to use it for years to come.
