Book
A great read for new moms or expectant moms I would like to recommend. Tiffany Stock does a brilliant job of capturing the thoughts and emotions of the expectant mom all the way through actual motherhood. Unlike the other books available, this book focuses on the mom along with the baby.

As I read this book, I thought to myself, I wish I thought of that! The chapters that focus on delivery, coming home and going back to work are on point. I particular love the format of the book as it provides things to consider before, during and after the delivery of your new baby. It’s a fun guide through the “realities” of motherhood. The coping strategies listed, can be applied to situations faced by expectant, new and veteran moms.

All of the suggestions given by the author are practical and obtainable. There’s nothing technical or preachy about this book. You feel like you are talking to one of your girlfriends. Ms. Stock even addresses the touchy subjects such as working moms and the division of chores! I look forward to more books from this author as we continue through the stages of motherhood together. I recommend purchasing this book for the expectant mother or a “mom” in your life looking for validation. If you want to purchase the book check out lulu.com or www.lifeasmommy08.com.
