Plague

People should be very concerned when it comes to HIV/AIDS. We the people should know by now that twenty-five years after the AIDS epidemic was given a name, which we know called this plague that wealthiest vs. poorness in other countries. In Haiti and Palm Beach County, we all know about needle exchanges and unprotected sex, and that many men, women, teens, and babies have it. The highlights for these countries is because their poor people without jobs, and their families need to be taken care of, and this is the only way they know how to live. HIV is not only in Haiti but all over the world. It’s the number one killer! This is why HIV/AIDS needs to be taught in schools around the world, and in the United States not only to students, but to teachers and parents. Teachers should have their students watch films, have writing discussions on HIV/AIDS, and make it a weekly assignment. Parents should teach their children to use protection if their teens are that sexually active. This may shape our children’s future. This can be built on media of AIDS crisis and how Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and South Florida that is only two hours away should all know that Hispanic has struggle with the highest HIV. Not only should we be concerned, but we should be careful of who we are sleeping with, and are your partners safe to have sex with, and if you aren’t sure about it, get an AIDS test done to be safe. We the people must value our lives as well as our children’s future because I think it’s very important to everyone’s future to live for today and wait until we see tomorrow. Let me ask you a question: how would you feel if a member in your family had HIV/AIDS, and what would you do? Write me or leave your comments. I know a friend of a friend had HIV/AIDS, and now today he’s gone! It’s sad that this unprotected epidemic is spreading the across the country and world for teens and adults across our nation. But, the Bible spoke about plague, and other diseases that will currently happen, and everything that’s in the Bible is in the light.

AIDS is not a plague any more than cancer or diabetes is. Why did you have to mention the bible? Your essay was good up until you mentioned the bible. Now all I see is some fear-mongering so-called christian with a book that you can use to blame groups for what you call a plague. Religion has done more to push the spread of AIDS as it makes people hide from who they are and do it on the down-low. Freely accept people the way they are and don't make them feel bad about who they are and I am sure that AIDS rates will go down...
It feels good to write.
