I think the outrage should be aimed at ALL "ELECTED" officials of the government for allowing this to happen.
"WE THE PEOPLE" of the United States have taken a back seat to what is going on and the time has come to do something to stop the madness.
We should all contact our Senators and Congresspeople and remind them they were elected by the people to protect the people. They need to remember that election time will come around soon and they are not indispensable.
We cannot give away our Great Nation, the Nation that our forefathers and current military have fought so diligently to protect. American is still the Greatest Nation in the World. Lets keep it that way.
I don't believe you understood a word I said, Bill. I did not say that Democrats are childish, and we DO, in fact, open our eyes to see each and every day. I DO believe I am correct, and I DO believe you are wrong, and no amount of your harangue is going to change my opinion. As for your idiotic domino effect comment.... eh - I'm tired of your nonsense. I'm tired of the way you take over every single article you come across and turn it into a political minefield.
I have friends and family that are also Dems, and I don't think they are childish at all. Even they can at least open their eyes and see, it is all like a domino effect. It really won't be getting any better any time soon. Positive thinking is a good thing though to get us through the days. It is good to invest in companies that do the right things or good things in your own judgement no doubt. Reading the fine print is also good............Finger pointing, well if the shoe fits.....that's called saying your are right, and I was wrong. Personal responsibility, and myself see none of that in our Mr. Obama. He only literally continues to pass the buck-literally in fact too. He may blame it on the past but it is his present, and he chooses to follow the same path. Dealing with fine print can be an excellent very fruitful experience:)))
Hmm. I know quite a few absolutely wonderful "Dems" I'm one myself. And frankly, I like whats beginning to happen now. To blame congress or the President for a major F'up in the private sector is a little, er, foolish? Shortsighted? Childlike? Yes, those and more. The situation with our economy is dire, but getting better each day that WE the people make better and more well informed choices. My money is invested in companies that DO GOOD THINGS, not just companies who make money. I read the fine print. And when I make a mistake, I deal with it and I learn from it. I find finger pointing irritating in the extreme.
And the DODD is falling!!! Big time!! Country wide bank all his face!! And more..........
yet Congress has just given themseleves 210,000 in bonuses, and more money to Fannie and Freddie, and they still don't think there is a rush to regulate them more carefully. Frank couldn't even hold up to the question of a graduate at a school he gave a speech at, in fact he lost his cool and said I am the Congressmen or whatver, Rep, and you sir are the student......uuummmm not good. The student replied simply, but you still have not addressed my questiuon?? I don't see Congress or the Pres sacraficing anything, made his very first trip to iraq, how nice, Bill O'Rielly and Gary Sanise (?) have been there more thean that. Since way back.
Your right Edna if we do not stop it. And it is looking to be more like in the 20 trillions in over 10 years, when you include all the actual spending they can't possibly accounbt for at this time. Amazing isn't it? Totllay sad if it happens. there is a British guy out there, he can't even talk about this stuff in britian and he taken a lot of heat for it, I believe his name is Daniel Hannon, he is screaming saying we just went through it it aint working. Donanld Trump is literally telling the NY mayor to screw it if they raise taxes he out of there, Roushe, like the guy, casn't spell his nam how about that?? Anyway, he has a Penthouse, in NY and he is also selling. Won't give them there money. It isn't really greed all that much either, it is more about control. No doubt. The greed is in the POWER, of the government. It sounds a bit off the top, but it is I truley believe that way. We have soldiers out their getting their promises broken when they return from sacraficing their lives,
Greed is greed. When millions and billions are involved, who is counting? When the objective is more, more and
more, there is never enough to go around.
This problem is also not between the two parties, what it comes to is principles. There are some good dems out there to, but there aint enough. That comment I made about having a friend in Britian, reality is we all do. Even they, at least the honest ones are trying to tell us do not go down this path. They are picking who they treat medically, socializing it is not going to make it any better. Only standardized. I have every reason to want it, I have nothing. I have 300.00 in benifits per month, and a $400.00 car payment. Why even mention the rest. What I do have is family, love, and a wonderful country if it would be able to thrive, instead of being stripped of all the finer things in life and oppressed. I have the finer things in life for the most part, but I also need to live, and if it were not for my family I would have no life at all. I still stand for stopping the wrongs, I will not waiver. That is my service. At least I absolutely know what I stand for.
But you know, no one ever listens, nor do they want to even try to understand the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Only, when you ar personally offended, do you tak any time or energy or insite to see what is really going on around you. But every one who try's to tell you.....................There just crazy..........I am not the only one this happens to either. It is flabergasting. Go talk about your manners, your boyfriends or cars, those who stay on here and our military I salute you. At least you are fighting or us, even when the pomises made to you after your journeys are unkept. But thats okay, Congressmen making great money, even Barney calling the repubs psyco, why, can't anyone simply look at facts and admit, hey we have a huge problem!! Even present there points of views and ideas and back them up. Everyone here is almost under the impression that no other options where given to the president. There were, they were not even considered, the door was slammed in their face
