Jewelry for Men: Yay or Nay?

I say "nay." If married, a wedding ring looks nice, but for me personally rings, bracelets, and necklaces are not my personal cup of tea on a man. Maybe it's because when I see a guy wearing jewelry, it's usually a lot at once: necklace, chunky ring, chunky bracelet, earring. Maybe in moderation it wouldn't Jersey-Shore me out so much.

Jewelry on men is great, as long as it fits their personality and attitude. Too much bling looks just as bad on a woman as on a man, and, just like with women, there are many styles that work. As for whether it could look plain silly, some guys ARE frilly and it does fit them. I wouldn't want to restrict men's self-expression through jewelry any more than I'd want them (or other women) deciding what I should wear. I'm open to feedback but I don't want to judge. If the bling fits, wear it.

If we're talking Jersey Shore or Mr. T, then jewelry on men looks silly. My new boyfriend, however, wears it well. He always has a necklace and bracelet on. Rings on guys (especially pinkie rings!) border on creepy. I personally like the chunky, 'chain' bracelets that some bikers wear. And silver on a dark-skinned guy? - I find that sexy. Then again....not the 5'2" skinny Indian dude. ....guess it all depends on the guy. Jewelry on men definitely requires attitude.
