Emily Blunt attended the premiere of her upcoming film Your Sister’s Sister at the Tribeca Film Festival wearing a long-sleeved red lace Michael Kors frock and chocolate brown Christian Louboutin platform sandals. She finished the look with a matching crocodile finished tan Louis Vuitton clutch, gold Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and a wavy, Roaring Twenties-inspired updo. Smolder on, Ms. Blunt. From one sister to another—we whole-heartedly approve of your look.

Krysten Ritter attended the screening of her new show, Don’t Trust the B—— In Apartment 23, dressed in an Alice + Olivia black lace dress with a belted waist, pleated skirt, and high neck. She paired the seductively stylish outfit with black Samantha Wills earrings and bright coral suede Aldo pumps. This is one b—— with style.

There’s no doubt that Jessica Alba knows a thing or two about fashion, but we were pleasantly surprised to see her three-year-old daughter, Honor, strutting her stuff in a cute pink patterned dress with high pink socks, silver flats, pink bows in her pigtails, and a striped handbag. Her hot mama donned a casual but put-together look with a simply styled taupe scarf around her neck, a jean vest, and on-trend bright orange bag across her body, and she finished off the look with baby-blue wide-eyed sunglasses and striped flats. Ms. Alba may no longer be a part of the Fantastic Four, but this fantastic duo will do just fine.

Fashion-forward superstar Rihanna was seen leaving the Mandarin Hotel in London wearing a multicolored blazer dress by Stella McCartney. The sexified star decided to go sans bra, cami, or anything at all underneath her blazer, and surprisingly, she pulled it off without a nip slip. Although after the see-through mesh shirt she wore a few weeks back (and after posting half-naked twitpics of herself), we don’t think she’s too shy about showing off her assets anyhow. She matched the risqué uniform with black strappy sandals and chic, Lennon-inspired sunglasses. Rock on, Rihanna.

Jennifer Lawrence arrived to the Late Night Show with David Letterman in a knee-length, long-sleeved black Prabal Gurung dress with gold detailing down the front. The feisty star of The Hunger Games paired her shimmering dress with mesh, cut-out Jimmy Choo black heels. Although the actress opted for another gold gown by Prabal Gurung at the film’s L.A. premiere, this one is by far our favorite. It has just the right about of glimmer to stand out but still look appropriate for talk-show attire, and the cut is extremely flattering for her body shape. Well done, Ms. Lawrence. The odds were certainly in your favor.

Although we usually opt for elegant women in elegant dresses at elegant award shows for “Look of the Week,” there is something just as elegant about a woman who can look put-together without a team of stylists and beauticians perfecting her appearance first.

Miranda Kerr’s pairing of leopard-print skinny jeans, black flats, and a cropped leather jacket for a day at the spa in New York is the model (no pun intended) of perfection for such street-style sophistication. Her large dark chestnut-colored purse and oversized sunglasses help make the casual outfit oh-so chic. Leopard print pants can easily turn a classy ensemble into an over-the-top fashion disaster, but the subdued blue color of Ms. Kerr’s jeans is enough to add some spunk without looking punk. Not bad for an outfit that this gorgeous supermodel just, you know, threw together.

Ginnifer Goodwin arrived at the Paley Center for the Media’s PaleyFest, where her hit series, Once Upon a Time, was being honored, in a playful, printed empire-waist dress by Jonathan Saunders. The star, who doubles as Snow White and an elementary-school teacher on the show, wrapped up her quirky style choice with tan, suede pumps by Giuseppe Zanotti and a gold belt cinched at her waist. We know fairy tales aren’t real, but this part-time princess’s red-carpet magic sure is.

Elizabeth Banks stunned the crowd at the Vanity Fair Oscar party last weekend when she stepped out in a long-sleeved, green and blue polka-dotted Chadwick Bell gown with a velvet waistband and a train covered in navy blue feathers. She finished the look with navy blue and green Bulgari jewelry and a Jimmy Choo clutch. The star, who will play eccentric fashion-icon Effie Trinket in the upcoming The Hunger Games film, may have taken a cue or two from her quirky character. We hope she continues to channel Effie Trinket’s unconventional fashion choices, because eccentric looks absolutely dashing on Ms. Banks.

Emma Stone dined at Essence magazine’s annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon this week wearing an Elie Saab couture dress with three-quarter-length sleeves, delicate detailing, and an opened back. The red-headed beauty paired the simple but elegant dress with a Ferragamo clutch, Brian Atwood nude heels, and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. She may play a leading role in Oscar-nominated film called The Help, but clearly Ms. Stone needs no help when it comes to red-carpet fashion.

Jennifer Aniston was spotted wearing a knee-length, black-and-white Tom Ford dress that she paired with black Louboutin pumps at the Wanderlust premiere in L.A. The actress, who stars opposite Paul Rudd in the film, looked curvier than ever—something we are pleasantly surprised to see. The psychedelic print, leather trim, and flared detail at the waist were a refreshing break from Ms. Aniston’s usual tame, monochromatic choices on the red carpet. It seems like her movie about winding up at a hippie retreat had more of an effect on her than we thought.

Diane Kruger stunned in an incredible Giambattista Valli haute couture gown with a Judith Leiber embellished clutch at the Berlin International Film Festival. The polka-dotted blouson neckline, cascading sequins, and metal cinched belt oozed a lavish decadence—something that may have rubbed off on her while playing Marie Antoinette in her latest film, Farewell, My Queen, which debuts at the festival. We bow down to Ms. Kruger for having the guts to don and pull off this gown and would love to see more unconventional haute couture outfits on the red carpet. If there is anyone to lead us there, it’s Her Highness.

Rachel McAdams arrived at L.A. premiere of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island in a Peter Som floral-print skirt paired with a sheer indigo blouse and Jimmy Choo heels. Although our girl crush wasn’t a member of the cast, she certainly stole the show on the red carpet with this vibrant ensemble. Rachel may have forgotten her wedding vows in her upcoming movie, The Vow, but no bump on the head could cause this actress to forget her vow to fashion.

Elizabeth Banks reached new fashion heights in a daring Emilio Pucci gold, beaded minidress with matching spiked Christian Louboutin sandals at the L.A. premiere of her latest film, Man on a Ledge. With a flirty keyhole open back and a perfectly paired Jimmy Choo clutch, we’re pretty sure any man would go out “on a ledge” for Ms. Banks.

Carey Mulligan arrived at the London Film Critics’ Circle Awards wearing a vintage-inspired frock by Rolan Mouret that was so pretty we hardly noticed her hunk of a costar Michael Fassbender on the red carpet—and that’s no small feat. We could do without the distracting black ribbon collar, but the bright blue heels by Yves Saint Laurent more than make up for it and Ms. Mulligan’s slicked-back pixie cut didn’t hurt either. In the immortal words of Chris de Burgh, we’ve “never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight,” Carey.

Charlize Theron looked like a queen at the Critics’ Choice Awards when she stepped out in a ruffled but sleek black Alaïa Haute Couture dress. The best actress nominee and Snow White and the Huntsman star also rocked statement jewelry by Bulgari and an elegantly braided side bun to complete a look fit for royalty. We don’t need a mirror to tell us who’s the fairest of them all.

Mr. and Mrs. Bond may have been attending the Spanish premiere of a movie all about a girl with a dragon tattoo, but the real star here is the girl with the perfectly tailored and cinched Alexander McQueen dress. Hubby’s matching blue eyes and shirt aren’t too shabby either. They must spend a great deal of time complimenting one another on their relative perfection.

We typically reserve this space for a fresh-faced fashionista who’s sporting the latest trends and designer threads, but some rules are made to be broken, and when we saw this pic of Robert Downey Jr. and Guy Ritchie at the Rome photocall for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,we knew we’d found the week’s most memorable display of personal style. Say what you will about his zany dip-dyed sneakers, we’re betting that you can’t help but smile when you look at this picture—and we can’t think of anyone else on Earth who could make Smurf-dipped shoes look this gosh-darn dapper. Personal style, it’s elementary for RDJ.

Maybe it’s our inner carny, or maybe it’s the fact that this dress looks like it stepped out of a Tim Burton movie and we love Tim Burton movies, whatever it is, we’re digging Noomi Rapace’s offbeat gown from the European premiere of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. The dress is from Carolina Herrera’s Resort 2012 collection and the jewelry is by David Webb. With bold fashion choices like this, it’s no surprise that the Swedish actress of Girl with a Dragon Tattoo fame inspired a line at one of the biggest fashion retailers in the world.

Little Miss Innocent looked sizzling hot in a scarlet gown by Porcelain and gold peep-toe heels by Louboutin at the Country Music Television Artists of the Year event. Although her confidence was enough to make her shine, Taylor wore Lorraine Schwartz diamond and blue-sapphire earrings as well as a brown diamond bracelet and bright red lipstick to pull the outfit together. Nicely done, Ms. Swift.

She may have been there in a supporting role as the on-again sweetie of honoree Justin Timberlake, but Jessica Biel was the style star of the GQ Men of the Year party. The statuesque beauty dazzled in a vintage-inspired gown by Antonio Barardi and Louboutin clutch, with scarlet lips, a fuss-free updo, and gunpowder nails lending a modern twist to her classic-starlet vibe. And to think, Biel’s best accessory (his name rhymes with Mustin) isn’t even pictured here. Nicely done, Ms. Biel.

If there’s one event where it’s entirely appropriate—nay, encouraged—to be draped in sequins from head to toe, it’s the Latin Grammys. Zoe Saldana, who seems to sparkle no matter what she puts on, used the opportunity to showcase a stunning emerald gown from red-carpet guru Elie Saab’s spring 2012 collection. The dress made the perfect statement, which was somewhere between “Look at me! Look at me! Look at me!” and “I’m a classy lady with a taste for the finer things and no need for attention.” The color complemented her skin tone beautifully and we love that she kept it simple with zero accessories. We are less enthusiastic about the Heineken logo at her feet, but we can’t have it all, can we? Keep shining, Zoe.

Clint Eastwood’s daughter Francesca stole the show at the Hollywood premiere of her father’s latest directorial effort, J. Edgar. And that’s no small feat considering Hilary Swank and Leonardo DiCaprio were in attendance. Maybe it has something to do with the cosmically playful pattern on her dress that screams “I’m a star—literally!” or maybe it’s her flawless skin offset with just the faintest touch of lavender in her platinum side bun. Whatever it is, this gal gets points for taking risks and showcasing a truly original sense of style.

Keira was dressed to kill at the London Film Festival premier of her latest movie, A Dangerous Method. This simple but stunning gown, designed by Roksanda Ilincic, has a distinctly vintage feel—thanks to the midi length that’s everywhere this season—but the navy ribbon detail at the waist and criss-cross keyhole bodice give it fresh twist. The British beauty’s sleek side-part bun and minimal accessories keep the focus where it should be: on the dress and those to-die-for cheekbones. Here’s to looking dangerously good.

When did Evan Rachel Wood get so ridiculously stylish? Every time she steps out these days it’s an affair to remember. Here she is channeling her inner nun at the London Film Festival, promoting her latest film, The Ides of March. Wood gives her Madewell mini-frock a mod kick by pairing knee-high boots, turning the whole look into a spiritual experience. Can I get an “amen”?

This week, Zoe Saldana reminded us why she got to guest judge on Project Runway this season: girl’s got class. The actress and cofounder of fashion website MyFDB was seen wearing a lovely black Jason Wu petal-printed dress from his spring 2012 collection with nude Brian Atwood “Zenith” ankle-strap pumps at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles. Luckily for us fashion fiends, Jason Wu is the next big designer to come to Target, which will make it much easier (and affordable) to mimic Zoe’s awesome style. She may have played bad-ass chick in Colombiana, but Ms. Saldana looks perfectly sweet here.

Mary-Kate and Ashley may be the fashion designers in the family—for now, but little sister Elizabeth’s relaxed sense of style has us thinking she’s not far behind. Her pairing of this beautiful pop-of-color skirt by Erdem with a simple black tee and vintage-inspired bohemian accessories at the Nylon magazine–Armani Exhange dinner in New York this week was both sophisticated and youthful. As is the mark of a true trendsetter, we officially want one of everything she’s wearing. Nicely done, Pipsqueak Olsen.

This week, Kirsten wowed us on the red carpet, or rather cobblestone street, for the U.K. premier of her new psychological thriller, Melancholia. This playful, vintage-inspired gown from Honor’s spring 2012 collection is a fun, fashion-forward departure from the trying-too-hard sexpot gowns we often see at red carpet events, and the simple black heels seal the deal. Not to mention the fact that her hair has never looked better (love the loose, side-swept ’do) and the touch of copper around her eyes complements her dress beautifully. Looking forward to watching Kirsten’s fashion choices for her stateside premiers come November!
