What Thanksgiving Dish Do You Dread Seeing on the Table?

Thanksgiving is almost here, and our salivary glands are already in overdrive thinking about buttery mashed potatoes, herb-infused stuffing, and perfectly sweet pumpkin pie. But for all those Turkey Day staples we eagerly await every year, there’s always at least one dish on the table we steadfastly avoid. Maybe it’s the canned cranberry sauce or a relative’s infamous green bean casserole; hey, maybe it’s even the turkey. ’Fess up—when it comes to the items on your Thanksgiving menu, which is the one that you secretly (or not-so-secretly) hate?

Pork product: aside from bacon, I've just never liked pig. That or the sour cream potato casserole gramma used to make. That was pretty nasty.

Any part of the pig that is NOT ham or ribs. My family being decents of Southern slaves still insist on having also boiled Pig's feet nd/or hog maws and chittlins. They look disgusting and they STINK!!

I love to EAT all of the Thanksgiving items we had as kids. I love to COOK and BAKE but now that I'm a retired person with only a husband to feed and nobody comes all the way to Florida to eat holiday meals -- the BEST part about them now is we go out to eat! Thanksgiving Day most of our favorite restaurants are open and serving just what we like, but Christmas is a little harder to find open restaurants. So this year we broke our budget and we went to one of those oriental restaurants where they cook on the hibachi right in front of the customers. What a wonderful treat! Excellent food, service, and experience! Maybe we can go again for our 50th anniversary this year...I hope, I hope, I hope. Thanks for asking!

Green bean casserole is the dish that makes me cringe.

Those Jell-O salads look scary, I wouldn't eat those. Luckily, we don't have any of those-gross!

I love everything. I make the dinner so I wouldn't make anything I don't like. Turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams , green casserole, rolls, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie-I love it all.

Turkey. I can't stand the smell, taste or even the look of it. My brother feels the same way about ham. So we often have both plus a lasagna or ravioli just in case!
