What’s Your Most Favorite Thing You Ever Wore to School?

my favorite thing to wear to school was my boots with my pants tucked in side them.i hardley ever went to school with out them...lol

My E.T. sneakers - they were the BEST! Grey and purple with a picture of E.T. on the side. I wore them with dresses, shorts, didn't matter - I loved them so much, when the laces broke my dad bought me these hideous white and red laces and even though they didn't match I couldn't imagine no wearing my E.T.'s. Let's just say, it taught me never to be afraid of color.

The year was 1972 and I was just getting used to the idea of girls wearing pants to school. I was in the 10th grade and I had a pair of perfectly fitting purple hip huggers. I wore these with a dark blue corduroy blazer. For me, it was the perfect outfit and if I could fit into those hip huggers, I would wear them today.

In my sexond year of school my mom worked very early in the morning so I was left to fend for myself. Not really so dramatic but the class photo from that year says otherwise. My favorite outfit of choice to be photographed in and thus immortalize me as a fashion goddess was a navy blue and white stripped sailor collared shirt underneath a lime green velour tunic with a beautiful multi-colored glittering peacock on the breast and black stirrup leggings with chucky mary janes and tube sucks. Topped off with a frizzy mess of waist length curls on my head and a shy grin from the embarrasement of having recently lost my bottom tooth.

When I was in the seventh grade, my best friends mom pierced my ears with a needle and thread (and lots of ice). My favorite thing to wear after this life-changing moment was a pair of lady bug earrings -- I think I wore them until they rusted out!! lol

When I was in first grade I wore black patent leather Mary Janes, white knee sox, a black and gold plaid jumper and a black turtleneck. My hair was in a bun on top of my head with many bobby pins.I also had a Scooby Doo lunch box.

When I was in school girls were not allowed to wear pants and my mom bought me more dress's then skirts, but I finally got a navy blue skirt that when you spinned around it would spin also like a tutu, I really loved that skirt so tried to wear it all the time.

In the 1980's I had a brown Ralph Lauren wool blazer that came to my knees. It was beautiful. My college age daughter now has it and she also loves it.

My favorite outfit was that I can remember was my namebrand Guess jeans and red top. The first time I brought the top at the mall I left the bag sitting at a table while eating. I left and came back and it was gone. I had to buy the top again and it became one of my favortite tops to wear.

I lived in a country that we have to wear uniform. I was thrilled to get to wear the college uniform. Actually simply white short sleeve shirt, with either a black or blue skirt but we can choose the style...not fancy though since we have to wear our university pin on the shirt.
