My cat, Taung, is crazy. He knows when I don't like someone because he'll either attack them or ignore them the next time he sees them, depending on my mood towards them at the time. My other cat, Dr. Lecter, is named after said character because I swear he plays some scary mind games with people if they annoy him.

I have a Silver-point Siamese cat, she's a female and her name is, Loretta. Theres a sad but loving story about her and I wish to tell it for all here. Almost 6 yrs ago, I can remember the day just like as if it was yesterday, a little girl next door was sitting on a porch swing and I was sitting outside, we were both listening to the rain coming down, I heard her crying and I then saw the tears. I asked her what seems to be the problem. She said that she found a kitten in the street gutter and rescued it and brought it home. She had shown the kitten to her mother and she was told that she couldn't keep it and she was to find someone to give it a home. Well, I offered her that I would keep it if it was alright with her, SHE smiled at me and withdrew this tiny little kitten from her jacket pocket and reached out to me over the fence. From that day forward, all 3 of us had became friends until she moved away a few years ago. Loretta and I have become insuperable.
My cat's a nut! He is the dearest, sweetest creature imaginable. He makes us laugh our butts offl Cornelious goes bonkers over a lazer light. It''s hilarious! I get upset when "dog people" rant about how much they hate cats. Apparently they don't appreciate animals very much. This is a lovely, purrfect site. Thanks!

We adopted our cat 6 months ago as newlyweds. Megatron is 11 years old and the best cat we ever could have asked for. Not only did we rescue her, but her personality is just so... us. My favourite thing about Megatron is her love for her blankie. Her blankie is a quilt we got from my grandmother for our wedding, and yet you say blankie and she is right there. She is adorable and her mom and dad lover her and are grateful for her every day.
I love my cat because she has always been there for me. When she was a kitten she was scared of everything (she still is)! Her biggest fear is the sound that plastic bags make. It took a long time for me to show her that I wasn't going to hurt her. After we made that mark, I had to get her fixed. I begged the Vet to give her pain killers. However, they declined. Their response was that she needs to know not to move a certain way, and pain tells her that. It was awful to see her. For three days she would not move. I pushed her litter box, food and water close to her so she didn't have to move. Whenever she looked at me she had fear and pain in her eyes. Every day that I'd come home I would sit with her and tell her how beautiful she was in a soft caring voice. The fourth day that I came home from work she was sitting close to the door. I walked in and said, "Hey, pretty girl." And she meowed in response. She greets me every time I come home now after I say, "Pretty girl".

I love my cat because she is so sweet. She knows when she wants your attention and will stop at nothing to get it. But she also has learned when I am too busy to give her that attention. But the second she sees me free she will come to claim that affection she desired. Her name is Precious simply because she is just that my precious little baby.
Of my 4 cats, I love my manx cat, Abbie, most. She came here in the middle of winter on a very snowy day, just when I was in the depths of despair and needing a friend. I named her Abigail, because it means "JOY" and we call her "Abbie." She's truly been a JOY to me every day since she arrived. She immediately bonded with me and stays at my side. Being disabled with arthritis and Behcet's disease, I can't get out of the house a lot, and I love having my little companion, Abbie, here to "talk" to me and keep me company. At night the thing I love most is that she cuddles up to me and sleeps right at my side. She's like a "watch-cat"... always alert and hears anything unusual so she can alert me. I suppose the think I love most about her is the special JOY she brings to my life every day.

I LOVE MY CAT BECAUSE HE IS VERY INDEPENDENT BUT ALSO KNOWS WHEN IM SAD AND COMES RIGHT TO ME TO CUDDLE WITH ME.
