Do Gender Slurs Offend You?
It used to be that gender-specific slurs like “tramp” and “slut” were considered so offensive and sexually charged that we seldom heard them uttered in public. Nowadays, it’s not uncommon to hear them used as terms of endearment among girlfriends. We might let out a “Hey, bitches!” when we meet with our BFFs or teasingly call our favorite gal pal a slut when she’s flirting shamelessly at the bar, forgetting that these terms hold sinister origins. And let’s be honest, it’s not unheard of for these terms to be used in a less-than-playful manner from time to time. In a society where gender slurs are tossed around like nicknames or used in casual conversation, do these words hold the same power as they used to? Or have we become desensitized to the misogyny that these words represent? Is it ever okay to drop the b-, c-, or s-word? Let us know what you think below.

I'm not offended by words as much as attitudes and ignorance. 'foul mouth' a child or a senior really makes my heart heavy.
It may be my 'generation' but my BFFs and I never use this kind of language with each other. It's demeaning and disrespectful. We are strong, intelligent women and can find wonderful, loving things to call each other. If we're feeling bitchy, we say so, but that's not an invitation to call each other Bitches. We may feel a bit slutty in the bedroom, but that's no one's business but the person we're with.
Just a thought: You control what comes out of your mouth, you control how you allow others to speak to you, and you control how you think of others. Take control. Ask yourself this: Just because "society" desensitizes such things; does it makes it ok for one to use or do it? My answer: NO! What's your answer?

No matter how feminism (See a book The Kpim of feminism (2010) has moved ideas and practices of gender slurs as a social thing, even with the power to change and continue, men use them as they suit their purposes and charms. But what has continued to baffle most men is why women are so crafty and eager to play the gender slurs on men themselves. For example, a girl called a bitch will turn around in a romantic moment to tell a guy that I am your bitch so treat me nicely. The question I pose in this regard is this. Why do most women carry intagible assets that men will return to buy and possess even when women annoy them, they will go back to beg.
