No More Sleepless Skin

The New Year’s Eve champagne flutes may be packed away but as a busy mom I still have plenty of nights where I burn the midnight oil. Quite honestly since becoming a mother I rarely get a solid night’s sleep on a consistent basis and I have lost the ability to sleep in very late at all on the weekends, even though my girls are four and seven. What can I say, I use a LOT of under eye concealed.

I turned forty last August so I am always on the lookout for great new skincare products. Hard Night, Good Morning Facial Cocktail Serum was a new product to me. It’s an aloe vera-based solution that is packed with botanical extracts.

Their Web site touts that is has been clinically tested to show a 51 percent reduction in the skin’s wrinkled surface in just one application. Lucky for me I have been religiously using moisturizer and sunscreen since turning thirty so I don’t have a lot of wrinkles, but I definitely have crow’s feet when I smile. Now for the past decade I have tried many different skincare products, from Neutrogena to L’Oreal to Cindy Crawford Meaningful Beauty. One thing I noticed immediately about Hard Night, Good Morning Facial Cocktail Serum, besides the clever name, was an immediate, but subtle, tightening sensation. I could definitely feel a difference in the texture of my skin. It felt softer and “plumper.” It also has a very pleasant, light scent that is not heavy or perfumed, but clean. Just a small amount at night or in the morning goes a long way. I’ve been using mine before I go to bed and after I cleanse my skin. I truly feel like I am giving my skin a little luxurious treat at night.

Hard Night, Good Morning Facial Cocktail Serum was developed by Texan D’Andra Simmons, an expert in the nutritional and skin care industry. It was featured last year in Lucky and Modern Luxury Bride magazines.

This is not an inexpensive product, and trust me I am on a budget, but if you are in your late thirties or older and you want to make an investment in your skin, I highly recommend this product. At the very least, it’s definitely worth trying (especially on sale!) It would be a great present to yourself.

As to the Hard Night/Early Morning stuff.. What science behind this product? Is the manufacture a skin care pro? Private Label Labs....Got to love their business sense. Allow anyone to slap a label with their name on a product of which the lab owns the formula.. I think I will try that...

I am amazed that anyone can go to a private label lab and put their name on it.
I've always used fairly expensive products on my face, and as a Baby Boomer I have hardly any fine lines and wrinkles. Will check this one out.
I'm almost 60 and I have used Olay products most of my life, and I get comments all the time on my face not looking my age, and it's not expensive!

umm. $116.00 an OUNCE??! ok, Jamie, whatever you say... i'll stick to my 8-10 glasses of water a day, healthy diet & not-to-be-branded moisturizer - i'm 39 and it works for me :)
